Sweet Chipotle Turkey Chili
Sweet Chipotle Turkey Chili
It may seem strange for me to post a chili recipe in mid-June…but not as strange as it was to cook and eat in mid-June! I need this recipe for another project I’m working on and that’s just the sacrifice my husband needs to make – sampling Sweet Chipotle Turkey Chili on a Summer night! 🙂
I opted to omit beans in this recipe to reduce carbohydrate content. I won’t lie, it IS noticeable in the texture albeit the flavor is still really good. If you’re in a good place with your weight loss, a small amount of beans would likely be fine but if you’re trying hard to keep things moving along, I would skip ’em.
There is a LOT of protein in this dish! Solid protein is the hardest to digest so small bites and take your time (but not more than 30 minutes!)
