Blue Cheese Stuffed Burgers

It’s burger season again around my parts!

Really, I make burgers all year round. But there is something about the Spring time air and firing up the grill outside for the first time in months that says burger time!

I love how creative burgers can be on a low carb diet. Burger patties are a mainstay for nearly every bariatric surgery patient! Turkey, chicken, beef with veggies, spices, toppings and no need for a bun! Super filling and packed with protein. I love burgers.

I first made this burger almost 8 years ago when I was in my first bariatric surgery program and posting my recipes on Facebook. I would tell my patients to follow me on Facebook for meal ideas. Long before I ever created a website! Looking back can be a fun thing sometimes 🙂

That post was in July 2012! And now I have over 500+ bariatric recipes, video courses and a meal planner tool! I’m so thankful for this fun journey!
